If you have early elementary children try letting them paint the outside of the house the next sunny day! No, I’m not crazy…. Give them a couple of full size paint brushes and a bucket of plain water. The water will not hurt anything, but anything they “paint” will turn darker until the water dries. Best of all… other than some wet clothes, there is no mess to clean up afterwards!
