School Bell: Parent Report Cards?

Last week on the Today show there was a report about a school district that is considering issuing "Parent Report Cards."  Slow down!  Take a breath.... I just wanted to share their thoughts.  According to the report parents would be graded on:
--- Does the child complete homework?
--- Does the child miss too much school?
--- Does the child get a good night's rest?
--- Does the parent answer school communication?

The ratings would not be letter grades but a sort of:  OK, Needs work, or Unsatisfactory type of thing.

The idea was floated by a lawmaker in the Florida state legislature representative. I suspect it may stir some controversy.... what do you think?? Could the whole family soon be dreading report card day?
